XUK

Responsive website design and SEO improvements

XUK run residential and day holiday camps for children between the ages of 3 and 17. After successfully working with Naked Creativity for many years, XUK decided it was time to refresh their website in order to support key SEO improvements.

New visual designs based on the existing aesthetic were presented for the homepage, camp landing pages and content pages in both mobile and desktop view, for feedback and discussion. By incorporating clear signposting on the homepage, visitors are led to information on the most suitable camp for their child. This idea continues on the camp landing pages which now link to the most relevant content within the section. The clear navigation allows the user to globally swap between the camps and browse the pages within that section. To assist with SEO, the menu is shared across the desktop and mobile layout.

Once the design was signed off, the existing codebase was updated and deployed to a development site in order for XUK to review. This meant that the existing pages and content could be built upon to incorporate the required SEO updates.
