An e-learning course designed and built to meets Triple-A accessibility standards

Naked Creativity have a long-standing collaboration with XOR – one of the UK’s leading e-learning developers, and handle a large amount of e-learning design and development on their behalf.

“The client wanted to be able to track basic statistics from the course so rather than using an expensive software tracker, we suggested using Google Analytics to collect this data and give basic results. This free application presents the results visually as graphs and diagrams which allows the ODA to quickly and efficiently analyse the results.”

In this instance, Naked Creativity were asked to design and develop an e-learning course on equality and inclusion for the Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA). Working from content provided, it was important to deliver a high level of accessibility and usability for the course.

The used of a ‘comic book’ style to present the photos made the course more engaging for the participant and also proved to be a good way to present the background story in an accessible way

It was important to work to Triple-A accessibility standards that determine how to make web content accessible to people with disabilities. This restricted the amount of interactivity that could be added to the website but provided a strong boundary to work to. Due to this, numerous iterations of the website design were created to ensure that these standards were met.

What we delivered

An e-learning course that met Triple-A accessibility standards to ensure a high level of usability and accessibility. Google Analytics was also employed to track course results, allowing the client to track and evaluate the basic results they required.
