About Naked Creativity

Approach

Naked Creativity is a Central London design consultancy with a six-strong team of creative and technical individuals all passionate about good design.

Yet again the Guys at Naked Creativity nailed it! Like most clients no doubt our brief was a little vague but they came back with some great ideas that exceeded our expectations whilst not breaking the budget.

Tim Browne, Essex Scouts

With clients ranging from leading London Universities and multinational companies, to startups, charities and industry leaders, the Naked Creativity team produce quality design work in the fields of branding, graphic design and website development.

By understanding businesses and the needs of their customers, Naked Creativity seek to demonstrate that good design produces a tangible return for any organisation. This is achieved by mapping out a project from start to finish to ensure that original, inspiring and creative work is delivered on time and to budget, providing real results for your business.

Jordan Chitty

Jordan started Naked Creativity in 2007 after graduating from Brunel University with a BSc in Industrial Design. He was heavily involved in organising the end-of-year graduate design show Made in Brunel, and continues to have very strong links with Brunel. Since inception, Naked Creativity has had three students from Brunel on year-long placements, aimed at getting practical experience of working in industry.

Jordan is responsible for the overall creative direction of projects, so is involved hands-on with virtually every project that the company works on. He is also responsible for managing sales and new business enquiries.

Jordan lives with Isabel and their dog Mac, and spends any spare time renovating their house. Jordan is supposed to be training for the London Marathon in 2012, but somehow with work and DIY manages to find other things to do!

Matt Springbett

Matt joined Naked Creativity in May 2009 as technical director, having spent several years prior working for one of the UK's leading internet marketing consultancies with a wide range of companies from international media giants to start-up businesses.

Matt holds a 1st class BSc in E-commerce and Multimedia, having gained prestigious sponsorship from Sun Microsystems at the end of his first year for exceptional performance on the course.

Within Naked Creativity Matt is responsible for the backend development and technical strategy of client websites, as well as advising how clients can best improve their websites to perform well in search engines.

Matt has wide ranging professional interests from cloud computing to SEO and tries to dedicate as much time as possible staying abreast on new developments and technologies that could be used to drive client websites forward.

Outside of work Matt has a keen interest in Photography and follows motoring and motorsport - notably formula one. He also enjoys the occasional mountain bike ride. Matt is getting married to fiancée Sarah in July 2012, so claims he is busy wedding planning (although we think Sarah would probably disagree!).

Courtney McLean

Courtney is Naked Creativity's lead graphic designer, who swears by simplicity and believes that less is nearly always more. Since graduated from University with a BA in graphic design in 2007, Courtney has gained design experience at a number of design agencies and worked as a freelance designer, where he learned the most important skill they don't teach you at any design school – dealing with, and working alongside clients.

Since joining the team at the beginning of 2010, Courtney has worked on a wide variety of projects, from magazines to invites, and e-commerce websites to corporate identities. He has collaborated with a number of our clients to help them successfully achieve their goals, regardless of their budget, and continues to liaise (politely negotiate) with suppliers in order to do so.

When Courtney is not designing he's either trying to keep up to date on the latest design trends, playing football or hitting the gym (quite rarely these days, unfortunately), or just simply reading and having some chill time with his fiancée and 1 year old son.

Kirsty Sheehan

Kirsty joined the Naked Creativity team in the summer of 2010 shortly after her graduation from Nottingham Trent University with a BA in Multimedia. Specialising in Web Design for the final two years of her course, she was determined to enter into the industry she loved and wasted no time in finding a company where she could utilise her skills.

Kirsty predominately works on the the front end development of Naked Creativity’s website design projects but also works closely with Matt developing the functionality behind the designs she builds. She takes great pleasure in making sure each website looks as closely as possible to the desired design and that there is a high level of usability for the user to successfully navigate through the completed website.

When she is not developing websites Kirsty has a keen interest in cooking (and eating) food and regularly holds Come Dine With Me nights with her friends. She has also recently taken up Zumba, enjoys a good read and also a good natter!

Emma Tuttlebury

Emma originally joined the Naked Creativity team back in 2009 to complete a year work placement as part of her degree. After a successful year in industry with Naked Creativity, she returned to University ready to tackle the demanding work load of her final year of study.

Armed with a Product Design BSc degree from Brunel University, Emma returned to Naked Creativity in September 2011 to continue her role as a Designer. She works on a variety of projects that are generally Graphic Design based, but is starting to dip her fingers into the exciting world of Website Design.

Outside of work, Emma enjoys listening to and playing music and relaxing with her friends and family. She also enjoys walking and hiking and loves nothing more than going on holiday!

Jack Chitty

Jack is the Studio Manager; responsible for day-to-day tasks and ensuring the smooth running of Naked Creativity. Jack is fresh out of university where he studied Adventure - a very relevant subject for this line of work!

In his spare time he enjoys skiing, running and cooking. As if making the tea and answering the phone isn't enough, Jack is currently going through selection for the Royal Marines. He aims to start his commission in September 2012.
